Stay Tuned for National Preservation Conference Notes

October 8, 2007

What an incredible week I had at the National Historic Trust Preservation Conference!  I am so glad to have made the time to have been there!  Without question, it was one of the most educational and informative conferences I have ever attended.  It is my goal this week to organize my conference notes into categories that both relate to our Wilson Hotel rehabilitation project and share as much relevant information with regard to what I learned that specifically applies to our Historic Hub City revitalization movement.  I took about 100 pages of notes (no kidding!) - - so keep yourself plugged in because there are great “meat & potatoes” you won’t want to miss getting served up on the blog in the days/weeks to come…

Retail Space Remodel in Full Swing :-)

October 8, 2007

Remodeling construction in the Wilson Hotel retail space is beginning to take shape!  It is exciting to be welcoming three new businesses to N. Tower Avenue this winter.  Waddles & Wags ~ for the BABY in Your life, Vintage Bride Gifts & Accessories and Amour Fou Boutique & Creperie will all be great additions to the growing mix of businesses that call the Hub City Historic District home.  We will keep you posted on construction progress and grand opening details as they become available.
